by S. Levin Please be aware that on ringtones and similiar licensing that the Major Publishers do get paid more than the Independents do - just because (I never got an answer why) . AIMP members should remember that we are an association of INDEPENDENT MUSIC PUBLISHERS and in addition to educating ourselves and networking we should be working together to be assured we are paid the same as the majors. A2IM is a trade organization that works with indpendent labels to negotiate the same deals as major labels, AIMP should be doing the same. We need to band together to stop this practice.
