Copyright Royalty Board Cost-of-Living Adjustments Take Effect

January 11, 2017

On Sunday, January 1, the cost-of-living adjustments announced by the Copyright Royalty Board will take effect. These adjustments, 2% and 1.6%, respectively, will affect the royalty rates that colleges and universities pay under section 118, and that satellite carriers pay under section 116.
