She has over 15 years experience having started in the world of soundtrack production with Morgan Creek, Columbia Records and Arista Records where she worked on successful albums; The Last Of The Mohicans, Bad Boys, and The Preachers Wife. She then moved on to BMG Music Publishing where she pitched, placed and closed deals for the likes of Coldplay, The Who and Christina Aguilera, among many others. She is a member of NARAS, the AIMP and the CCC and routinely speaks on industry panels and also guest speaks at UCLA Music Extension classes. She is also currently music supervising her first film District 9 (Produced by Peter Jackson). Justin Kalifowitz joined Downtown Music LLC in 2007 to form Downtown Music Publishing. The Company now represents over 8,000 song copyrights recorded by artists ranging from Aretha Franklin and The Isley Brothers to Miley Cyrus and Leona Lewis. Kalifowitz has developed a writer roster that includes such diverse names as Motley Crue’s Nikki Sixx, British writer/producer Trevor Horn and Afro-Beat legend Femi Kuti. DMP also represents many writer/artists signed to affiliate label Downtown Records including Cold War Kids, Carla Bruni and Santigold. Prior to joining Downtown, Kalifowitz spent six years as Head of A&R at Spirit Music Publishing where he was named to Billboard’s “30 Under 30” Top Executives List and previously held A&R and Marketing positions with Virgin Records and RCA Music Group. Bruce Lampcov has been working in the music industry for over 25 years. He spent much of that time as a successful record producer and engineer having worked with numerous platinum selling artists. Bruce is regarded as one of the industry's most respected business leaders and dealmakers. Prior to joining Fintage Music as Executive Vice President in 2005, Bruce was Managing Director of Kobalt Music for four years based in London. Before this Bruce spent three years as Vice President, International Affairs and Business Development with Artist Direct. John Rudolph is the CEO of Bug Music, Inc., a leading global independent music publisher and innovator in music business services for over 30 years, headquartered in Los Angeles with offices in Nashville, Atlanta, New York, London and Munich. With a deep understanding of music publishing, copyright statute, technology and global finance, he is a future focused proponent of writers, creators and publishers across the world. Since his tenure at Bug began, John has welcomed many significant publishers and writers, including Kara Dioguardi/Arthouse, Scott Weiland, Jamie Foxx, Evanescence, Three Six Mafia, Windswept, Trio/Quartet Music, the Fred Alhert estate, the Woody Guthrie estate, and the Thomas J Valentino production music library among many others. John also serves on the board of the NMPA and Harry Fox Agency, as well as the finance and legislative sub-committees. |
