AIMP PANELS

April 29, 2009

Time: 5:30 - 7:00

NYC Pitch Session - Part 2

This April meeting is the second part of AIMP's unique opportunity for our members to craft a song for a few significant artists currently seeking new material.  To the others, it will be an opportunity to learn how the creative side of the business works.

At our first meeting on March 25th, writers heard music from the artist(s) in question, and received a creative brief from Richard Stumpf, Senior Vice President of Marketing and Creative from Cherry Lane Music.  Richard and his associates have filtered the submissions to a top list of songs that would potentially work. The writers of those top songs will be the special guests at this second, follow-up session where the A&Rs will critique their submissions.  This session is also open to others who care to learn about this process.

Confirmed artists looking for material are:

Andrew Luftman

Chris Anokute
