Nick joined UMe in 2004 and was previously with Universal Studios. Jennifer Mandel is a Music Supervisor with 8 years experience researching and licensing music for commercials, branded entertainment, TV, and independent film. She has advised on the creation of original songs for use in TV shows and commercials for ad agencies, working with world-class brands such as Honda, Toyota, Sprint, Lexus, Nike, Kia, Target, Apple, Patron, American Eagle Outfitters. Jennifer has expertise in commercial licensing negotiations including artist and management negotiations, multi-spot and multi-version packages, new technologies, and union residuals. Jessica Reznick is the Director of Business Affairs at 72andSunny, overseeing music, talent, third party partnerships, and legal compliance on all productions for both the Los Angeles and Amsterdam offices. In that capacity, she’s negotiated agreements with everyone from Dr. Dre and Annie Leibowitz to unsigned bands, original music deals, and the rising stars of the action sports and entertainment worlds. Prior to joining 72andSunny, Jessica worked at Crispin Border + Bogusky as an “A+R Producer”, a hybrid position she created to integrate production and Artists Relations. Her long list of client experience includes Hewlett Packard, Nike, Burger King, Miller Lite, Coca-Cola and the Gap. When she’s not on the hustle for 72andSunny she’s partaking in the latest fitness trend, snowboarding, or cheering on her Florida Gators. Robin Rossi has been a Business Affairs Manager for twenty years with extensive knowledge of union issues, labor laws, copyright and trademark issues, talent rates, publishing and record labels for licensed music and legal issues as they relate to advertising. She has experience at agencies such as TBWA/Chiat/Day, Team One, Saatchi and Saatchi, BBDO, Kovel Kresser and Partners and Kresser/Craig. Accounts of experience include Nissan and Infiniti, Apple Computer, Sony Playstation, Energizer Batteries, Pioneer Electronics and Starbucks. Ron Broitman is the SVP, Head of Synchronization for Warner / Chappell Music Publishing where he oversees all areas of synchronization. Previously, Ron served as Senior Vice President of Film, TV & Advertising at Sony/ATV Music Publishing from 2006 to 2010. In this role, he was responsible for building and managing a team that placed and negotiated all of Sony/ATV’s repertoire across a number of media platforms; including advertising, film and film trailers, new media projects, television and video games. Prior to joining Sony/ATV Music Publishing, Ron spent 10 years at BMG Music Publishing U.S., most recently as Vice President of Film, TV & Advertising Music. In this position, he managed the day-to-day activities of the synchronization department and represented the BMG and Zomba Music Publishing catalogues. During that time, Ron spent two years overseeing the entire synchronization business for all of the music publishing catalogs and all of the BMG record labels, including the Arista, Jive and RCA labels, among others. Ron began his entertainment career in commercial production for Propaganda Films and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from UCLA and a Juris Doctorate degree from Cornell Law School. |
