Job Description: 

Acquires and Develops Songwriters - by leveraging existing relationships to discover potential songwriters through referrals, recommendations, and introductions; by using experience and music knowledge to identify potential talent; by assessing fit of potential songwriters for HoriPro with regard to experience, budget, genre, and personality; by evaluating future activity and pipelines based on songwriter's current activity; by initiating contact with songwriters, management, other publishers, and labels; by setting up co-writes with other active songwriters from HoriPro and other publishers or artists; and by assisting in managing day-to-day interactions with staff songwriters and coordinating their activities.

Increases Revenue and Profit - by building, fostering, and liaising good working relationships with different individuals/clients within the licensing, copyrighting, and song communities, i.e. managers, producers, song writers, artists, etc.; by communicating with current and potential clients to provide information about the Company’s copyrighted songs; by following up on all client calls, visits, and inquiries; by pitching songs to records labels and artist management; by forwarding demos and lyrics to labels and artist management; by entering copyrighted songs into the Company’s catalogue; by organizing and archiving the catalogue to ensure the catalogue is updated and accur

Represents the Company - by attending events, showcases, and meetings as necessary in order to increase the presence of the Company and identify new talent; by promoting the Company to potential songwriters and artist management; and by continually exploring new ways to improve the Company’s image.
