Sync Assistant (LA)

 Defend Music Inc. is hiring a full time Sync Assistant (Hollywood)

We are looking for an outgoing individual with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to assist our Sync department. The Sync Assistant will help license our music to a variety of mediums (TV, Film, Video Game, Online) and customers (Networks, Studios, Brands, Ad Agencies, Developers). Some prior experience in licensing, public relations or sales a must. Bachelor Degree required. Music copyright knowledge and experience a plus but not a must. Applicant shall also posses above average music knowledge. Needs to be familiar with basic office programs.

Assistant will work closely with owner of Defend Music. Duties include but are not limited to reaching out to music supervisors, establishing relationships with music supervisors, fielding licensing requests, issuing licenses and invoices, keeping contact and copyright databases up to date, assisting A&R department, filings and basic bookkeeping.

This position is best suited for someone who has an interest placing music in a variety of media, is outgoing, organized, diligent and likes to work in a small team
