Job Description
Songtrust is seeking a music industry professional to fill a full time publishing administrator position. The candidate would be responsible for assisting Songtrust’s Publishing Operations team in tasks such as new writer affiliation, domestic & international song registration, catalogue administration, counterclaims, mechanical licensing, synch licensing, royalty processing and other tasks commonly practiced in the music industry.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Music Business, Music Industry or similar area of study.
• Knowledge of CounterPoint Systems publishing software (Maestro 400, Music Maestro and/or iMaestro)
• Experience with Royalty Processing & Distribution
• Experience working with Domestic & International Performance Rights Organizations (PRO’s)
• Experience working with Mechanical Rights & Collection Societies (HFA, CMRRA, Music Reports, etc.)
• Familiar with standard licensing practices (mechanical, synch, master)
• Ability to identify pitching & synch licensing opportunities
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Must have strong customer service & communication skills
• Must have strong organization & time management skills
