  • Listen To The Podcast - Of the October 1st Los Angeles discussion led by NMPA president and CEO David Israelite and Special Master/lawyer Kenneth Feinberg, who will be overseeing the distribution of nearly $300 million to music publishers from the big four record companies.  Hear a podcast of this important discussion here.  We will be keeping you posted as events unfold.
  • Reserved Seating for L.A. Luncheon Panels – We are pleased to offer reserved seating for any Premier Member paid reservation.  After reserving for a HOB event, premier members will receive an email with a seating chart from which to choose a table. This is one of many new features we will be offering to Premier Members.  
  • ·Letter to President Obama and Vice President Biden - The AIMP is supporting the Copyright Alliance’s latest efforts in sending a grassroots letter to Washington.  Please take the time to sign the electronic letter here,  to remind Washington the importance of protecting copyrights.
  • We were saddened to learn of the passing of Teressa Rowell last week. Teressa distinguished herself throughout her career as an AIMP administrative director, and later in her work with  Leiber and Stoller Publishing, Neil Diamond, Sony Music Entertainment Inc. and most recently the Haber Corporation in Encino, CA.  Friends and family are encouraged to visit the special website which has been set up as a memorial to Teressa at http://teressa-rowell.memory-of.com.
