Copyright Law Of The Unites States (a refresher)

August 3, 2018

Do you have copyright questions?  If so, our colleagues at the Copyright Alliance have answers!

The U.S. Copyright Act is the basis for copyright law in the United States. In the table in this link you will find the text of the U.S. Copyright Act, which can be found in title 17 of the United States Code. The underlying text is the 1976 Copyright Act, which was enacted in 1978, and has been amended several times throughout the years.
