Time: 11:45 AM - 2:00 PM

If you have been reading the trades recently, you have no doubt read about Mosaic Media Group. Every week there seems to be a new development in this exciting new company that seemingly overnight has become a mini-major. They are involved in producing and distributing films (ATLAS and SIGNPOST film companies), managing musical artists (ALANIS MORISSETTE, GOO GOO DOLLS and GREEN DAY), managing writers, actors and directors (THE WAYANS, JIM CARREY and JAY ROACH) and even TV production (the recent purchase of DICK CLARK PRODS.). They have also started a music publishing company, enlisted the venerable LIONEL CONWAY to run it, and have already bought HAMSTEIN MUSIC, with many other deals in the works. Come join us for a rare opportunity to hear ALLEN SHAPIRO, the architect of it all, discuss how and why Mosaic has become a major force in the entertainment world. Our moderators will be: Alan Melina, Sunset Blvd. Entertainment, and Michael Eames, PEN Music Group, Inc.
