Licensing Your Music In The $7 Billion Games Software Industry


According to the Entertainment Software Association, trade association of the computer and videogame industry, game software sales grew by 8% in 2003 to $7 billion and are expected to show strong growth into the foreseeable future. In 2003, more than 239 million computer and videogames were sold.

Games Industry music supervisors and management will discuss the market, the nature of music in games, how it is selected, sourced, and licensed, and what are the best ways for music publishers to approach this rapidly expanding market.p>
