Getting Music In Films: Not For The Faint Hearted


Getting music into films is incredibly complex, as it involves balancing the rights of artists, songwriters, record companies, publishers, and film companies. A panel of experts explains how to work through the deal making maze. Moderated by Don Passman.

As this panel expects one of AIMP?s largest turnouts, I suggest you reserve on-line as soon as possible, as we?ve unfortunately had to turn folks away in the past who did not register.

Qualifying students must reserve by phone and pay in advance by check or at the door. There are no online reservation or payment services for this discounted rate. Full-time students with a current student I.D. - $32.00 per person.

Reservations accepted online at www.aimp.org or by telephone at 818-771-7301 until midnight the day before the luncheon. Please do not leave reservations on the phone line on the morning of the luncheon as we can not accept them. Online reservations can be paid online by credit card however credit cards are not accepted at the door. Payment at the door by cash or check ONLY. Anyone making a reservation on Monday through Wednesday the week of this event will be served the fruit plate. Those who walk up without a reservation will be served whatever is available.

Attention attorneys: this activity has been approved for one hour of Minimum Continuing Legal Education Credit by the State Bar of California. Attorneys wishing to register for MCLE credit should bring their state bar number with them for the sign in sheet.

Attention CPA?s: This activity follows the continuing education guidelines specified in the California Board of Accountancy Regulations. CPA?s wishing to register for one CE credit should bring their CPA license number with them for the sign in sheet. [Pick up your certificate at the luncheon ? AIMP can not issue certificates after-the-fact.]
