LA Holiday Event - Songwriters In The Round, #2

A holiday tradition is born! Join the Association of Independent Music Publishers for a lively discussion/performance panel with a group of successful songwriters who have added to our listening pleasure for many years, and continue to do so today. This event will feature songs and performances by:

FRANNE GOLDE- a 5 time BMI Award winner with "Don't You Want Me"(Jody Watley), "Nightshift"(Commodores) and her most recent hit "Stickwitu" (Pussycat Dolls).

JON LIND - "Boogie Wonderland" (Earth, Wind & Fire), "Crazy For You" (Madonna), "Save The Best For Last" (Vanessa Williams), and "Sleep Tight" on Celine Dion's multimillion selling lullaby album.

SHARON ROBINSON - "New Attitude" (Patti LaBelle), "In My Secret Life" (Leonard Cohen), "Do It In Luxury" (Chris Botti), and currently Betty LaVette's "The High Road".

MODERATOR: PAUL ZOLLO - Currently the senior editor for "American Songwriter" and a contributing writer to "Performing Songwriter", "Billboard", "Variety", "Acoustic Guitar", and "Musician", Paul is the author of THE BEGINNING SONGWRITER'S ANSWER BOOK, SONGWRITERS ON SONGWRITING, HOLLYWOOD REMEMBERED, and most recently CONVERSATIONS WITH TOM PETTY.

We are not able to offer a student rate for this event.

Reservations accepted online at www.aimp.org or by telephone at 818-771-7301 until midnight the day before the luncheon. Please do not leave reservations on the phone line on the morning of the luncheon as we can not accept them. Online reservations can be paid online by credit card however credit cards are not accepted at the door. Payment at the door by cash or check ONLY.

Attention attorneys: this activity has been approved for one hour of Minimum Continuing Legal Education Credit by the State Bar of California. Attorneys wishing to register for MCLE credit should bring their state bar number with them for the sign in sheet.

Attention CPA?s: This activity follows the continuing education guidelines specified in the California Board of Accountancy Regulations. CPA?s wishing to register for one CE credit should bring their CPA license number with them for the sign in sheet. [Pick up your certificate at the luncheon ? AIMP can not issue certificates after-the-fact.]
