The NMPA Late Fee Settlement: How is it really working?

The NMPA Late Fee Settlement produced a windfall of monies paid to the publishing community, yet some people are still unhappy about it. Why complain about free money? Come to the meeting and hear about the pros and cons of this settlement, and about the futures monies to be distributed pursuant to the settlement. Could it have been handled better, and why wasn't it? Why are people griping? We'll discuss the past and the future of this deal in some detail. It should prove to be an interesting discussion of different viewpoints.

This panel was rescheduled from January 12th and all reservations from January 12th will be honored.  You do not have to enter a new reservation.

We have reached capacity for this event and can no longer take reservations.  Those who have already reserved should arrive early.
