NARIP Music Supervisor Session #2: McGarry Bowen's Jean Scofield NY

What do Jessica Dierauer, Jean Scofield, Mike Boris, Josh Rabinowitz and Ryan Fitch have in common? They are all special guests at NARIP Music Supervisor Sessions at Shelter Island Sound in New York.

Representing the best and brightest in music supervision at the top ad agencies in the world, these five seasoned executives select, commission and place (and in some cases, create) music for global advertising campaigns for the world's most recognizable brands. In NARIP’s intimate sessions, you get to meet and pitch them for current opportunities.

Come meet these career-makers.

Limited to 15 people, NARIP’s sessions enable you to get to know the supervisors and more importantly, enable them to get to know you. At private sessions in Los Angeles, participants were able to pitch for current opportunities on the spot, receiving instant feedback as to whether a song was appropriate or not, and WHY. This valuable feedback makes better pitches – and ultimately, placements – possible. In some cases, participants even had time to re-work their music to better fit a supervisors’ needs.

Born on the day MTV made its debut, Jean Scofield grew up in New York City's West Village surrounded by musicians and artists. With a world-renowned musician for a father and an industrious manager and producer for a mother, she's always had an aptitude for balancing the creative and the administrative. Today you can find Jean at mcgarrybowen in the music department. She is a performing artist and audiophile as well. That passion enhances her professional experiences. Her knowledge and industry relationships are diverse, defining her as a current, authentic resource.
