Sarah Gavigan is founder/author of the groundbreaking online educational resource Get Your Music Licensed. With over a decade of experience as an award-winning music supervisor, Gavigan has created a unique online community as the platform to share her insight and expertise on the notoriously hard to access music licensing industry. An accomplished Music Supervisor and Producer since 2000, Sarah has worked with global ad agencies such as Leo Burnett, BBH, Goodby Sliverstein, TBWA/Chiat Day and Deutsch, placing the music of Indie and Major label artists alike for such brands as Nike, Estee Lauder, Samsung, Hummer, Axe, VW, Nissan, Chevy, Apple and many many more. In 2008 she was tapped by UCLA to author and teach a class entitled "How To Get your Music Licensed in a Commercial." The success of class lead to the 2009 announcement of online music education program Get You Music Licensed (GYML). GYML is an e-learning environment and community that serves Indie/DIY musician and industry professional who seek insider knowledge of the sync licensing process and industry. Where many books on the topic leave off, GYML picks up with practical information about how the business works, where the opportunities lie and how to market yourself and your music for success.

Karen Macmlllan is a music licensing professional based in NYC. Her current position at Nettwerk Music Group entails pitching the Nettwerk catalog for placement in advertising as well as negotiating fees and terms. The Nettwerk roster (Label, Publishing and Management) includes artists such as: Fun., Matt & Kim, Family Of The Year, 10,000 Maniacs, Sinead O'Connor, Chromeo, Junkie XL, Angus & Julia Stone, Los Campesinos!, Alexi Murdoch, Shiny Toy Guns and many more. Recent ad campaigns include Amazon Kindle, Apple, Subaru, GE, Taco Bell, American Airlines, Microsoft, Time Warner Cable, and Chevy.
