Ariel Hyatt is a thought leader in the digital PR world: the founder of a successful PR firm; international speaker & educator and the author of two books on social media and marketing for artists. Ariel’s Cyber PR® process marks the intersection of social media with engaged behavior, PR, and online Marketing. Ariel foresaw the impact the advent of the internet and social media would have on public relations long before her peers. Following her vision, Ariel dove into the world of Digital PR in 2003. Her efforts to realize the public relations potential of social media resulted in innovation. Ariel developed her platform, Cyber PR®, to automate much of the traditional PR process and maximize client placement with new media makers. Ariel didn’t just provide the platform; she made it her mission to educate artists on how to take advantage of the new digital world. Her efforts have been lauded by artists and industry professionals alike. Ariel’s bi-weekly newsletter and YouTube series “SoundAdvice” has attracted over 20,000 subscribers, and she has penned over 100 articles to date. Ariel is also the author of two successful books on PR and new media: Music Success in Nine Weeks and Musician’s Roadmap to Facebook & Twitter offer artists a step-by-step plan to create a profitable and sustainable business from their art. Ariel’s message is so compelling she has been invited to speak at festivals and conferences in twelve countries, including SXSW, CMJ, ASCAP’s I Create Music, The Future of Music, Canadian Music Week, APRA’s Song Summit (Sydney), You Are In Control (Reykjavik), The ECMAs, NARAS, Grammy Camp, and The Taxi Road Rally. In the Fall of 2011, Middle Tennessee State University began offing an official Cyber PR® Class based on principals used in Ariel’s day-to-day business. She and her staff led students in a rigorous Cyber PR® accreditation process that included hands on experience working on active Cyber PR® Campaigns. The course was so popular that 2 section and an advanced Cyber PR® class has now been added. Having pivoted her business once successfully, Ariel is now exploring the universal applications of her Cyber PR® philosophy and platform, to public relations campaigns at large. This is why Ariel Publicity has represented over 1,700 clients in the seventeen years since its inception: knowledge, passion, talent, innovation, and the sort of luck born of hard work. These qualities are embodied in Ariel Hyatt. As the Sr. Director , Artist Services, Leeloy oversees the Nashville operations for Topspin Media; responsible for proactively developing deep, consultative business development relationships with key artist, management, label and ecosystem partners in the Country, Americana and Christian genres and educating clients and self serve artists on the best practices inside the Topspin platform and marketing in the direct-to-fan channel. In 2011, he realigned the Nashville office into a full service boutique agency and now helps brands and bands grow awareness, build community, market directly, create revenue and use actionable data to inform their efforts. He moved to Nashville, TN to launch Ticketmaster’s custom marketing and sales division, Music Services, and was responsible for Artist / Industry relations and business development and project management of large-scale sales and marketing campaigns for national touring artists like Keith Urban, Taylor Swift, Rascal Flatts, Jason Aldean and many more. After the Live Nation /Ticketmaster merger, Leeloy resurrected Foundation Music Group as an “Artist Development” consultancy – focusing his efforts in building solid relationships between artists and fans and growing business for independent artists, labels and brands looking to partner with music. His success helping artists build their Direct To Fan business drew the attention of several D2F platforms looking to plant a footprint in Nashville and brought him to Topspin Media. Marcus Whitney believes in the power of small groups to solve big problems. That’s why, as a technology pioneer and start-up mentor for business in Nashville and beyond, he uses his rare combination of focused vision, energy and magnetism to be an effective thought leader in his fast-moving areas of expertise. Marcus, a Brooklyn native, is at the center of the social commerce revolution at Moontoast, which offers clients (ranging from musicians to retailers) a seamless social media and e-commerce platform to maximize customer acquisition and revenue. In addition, he’s helped Moontoast expand operations to Boston, also a thriving technology start-up community, while maintaining a strong Nashville presence. A co-founder of Jumpstart Foundry and former partner at Emma, Inc., Marcus has demonstrated his commitment to positively shaping the universal digital landscape and—closer to home—growing a vibrant and fertile technology business environment to match Nashville’s world-famous music and healthcare industries. He’s a Managing Director at the aforementioned Jumpstart Foundry, a seed-stage mentor-driven microfund that selects and matches entrepreneurs to established advisers in their respective fields. Still one of Music City’s most-read industry analysts, Ross continues to cover the intersection between music and technology with local, national and global perspectives. Ross received the Canadian Country Music Association's Leonard T. Rambeau Award for International Achievement in 2003 and the CMA President's Award in 1998.
