"Singer/Songwriter Sessions" Workshop

alt“THE SINGER/SONGWRITER SESSIONS” Workshop

6 Weekly Tuesday Sessions 6:30PM – 8:30PM

Dates: April 16, 23, 30,  May 7, 14, 21

Location: Planet Studios at 244 West 54th St., NYC Suite. 800A (Between Bdwy & 8TH Ave)

This workshop is geared specifically towards the developing and emerging singer/songwriter.  The focus of the workshop will be to help each participant identify their unique song and sound to become a signature independent artist.  The concentration will be on the songs, arrangements, performance and production. Wherever you are in your process of writing, singing, playing, performing, recording and producing your EP/CD  - this workshop will help focus you on your strengths and give you much needed input before you make all the creative decisions and spend your hard earned budget dollars.

One of the ways for indie artists to breakout is through the use of their songs and recordings in film and TV.  The workshop will host special guest Steven Scharf during the May 14th session.  Steven Scharf Entertainment has represented a wide array of international producers and film composers and licenses over 100 artists for film and television.  Only a few seats left!  Send an email to newyorksongwriterscollective@gmail.com with Spring Workshop in the title.    Download flyer at this link: http://tinyurl.com/cfsn5em
