The CCC presents: Music Industry Under Attack

The music industry and copyright owners are under attack from a variety of sources. Pandora, Sirius XM, Getty Images, radio and television broadcasters, parties who re-mix and sample, publishers threatening to withdraw from the PROs and continued in-fighting between record labels and music publishers has made events in the industry even more complex than usual.

Join our panel of experts to discuss the current issues facing our industry and learn about the latest trends and developments.

MODERATOR:

  • STEVE WINOGRADSKY, ESQ., President, Winogradsky/Sobel and author of “Music Publishing: The Complete Guide”

PANELISTS:

  • CLARK MILLER, Executive Vice President, North America, Operations, Warner/Chappell Music
  • STUART ROSEN, ESQ., General Counsel, Broadcast Music, Inc. (BMI)
  • ALISON SMITH, Senior Vice President, Distribution and Administration Services, Broadcast Music, Inc. (BMI)

Please note that this meeting will also serve as the kick-off to our annual election of CCC board members and officers. We will be accepting nominations from the floor prior to the start of the April 15 panel and ballots will be sent out shortly thereafter.
