2014 Pacific Northwest Film Scoring - Summer Intensive Program

2014 PNWFS Summer Intensive Program in Nashville details and registration now online!!!

Come study the art, craft, and business of music for film and other media in a two-week seminar with 2 time Emmy Award winning composer/arranger Hummie Mann, other veterans of the industry, and a group of students from around the music industry.

Ever since the launch of it’s website, The Pacific Northwest Film Scoring Program has received inquiries from prospective students who either do not live in the Seattle area, the program’s primary location, or who wish to take some of the program’s training in a more compressed time period. In order to accommodate these students, the Two Week Summer Intensive Program was created, which has been running every year since 2001 in the Seattle, Washington, USA area. The program has become extremely popular, attracting students from as far away as Australia, Brazil, Scotland, Japan, Turkey and Dubai, as well as from all over the US and Canada. The program has also been taught in other locations around the world (Edinburgh, Copenhagen) and this year it is being offered in Nashville, Tennessee.  It is scheduled to run from July 21st to August 1st, 2014, Monday through Friday, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.  The program will include a number of “core” and elective courses (see schedule page below).

There is also a Welcome Reception/Program Registration scheduled for late afternoon on Sunday, July 20th, 2014. Refreshments will be served.
