The CCC presents: Are You Getting Paid? Best Practices for Unmatched Royalties

In a world of penny and micro penny payments coming from so many different content users, how can you be sure everyone who is using your recordings and compositions knows how to find you to pay you your royalties? And do they have the payment split or royalty rate correct? We’ll be discussing what tools music users and content owners use to find the correct parties to pay, what content owners and royalty recipients can do to make sure they are more easily found and that their information is current. We’ll discuss some of today’s options for ensuring you are getting paid correctly and what you can do about it if you are not.

SPECIAL UPDATE: We will have a special update on the recent Flo & Eddie Inc. v. Sirius XM Radio Inc., et al. court case and what it means for copyright owners of pre-72 recordings in California.
