BH Bar Association, Entertainment Law Section Luncheon Program presents a Music Industry Update

Music Industry Update:
Getting a Manager, a Record Deal, and the Money in 2015
Gone are the days when the only thing standing between a recording artist and a record deal was an A & R executive willing to listen to a demo. Today, record labels sign known commodities, since the labels now participate in all the revenues earned by their artists. As such, artists, who want major label deals, need to develop a massive following and, furthermore, have to prove that they are moneymakers. Never have the manager and lawyer been a more important member of the artist’s team. Join our panel of distinguished speakers as they update us on management agreements, 360 deals, and career building in 2015.
