MusicBiz 2015

Year after year, attendees come to the Music Business Association’s annual event to be in one place with professionals and companies that span the breadth of the industry.

Programming and ample meeting opportunities will bring songwriters, publishers, artists and managers together with the commerce and content communities. Genre-based meet-ups and special interest town halls will balance the uniqueness that makes Nashville a driving force in today’s marketplace with what attendees have come to expect from Music Biz.

As always, we will highlight the most current trends and issues and provide analysis on the growing implications of access-based models.  This year there is a specific track for songwriters and publishers, including a  Songwriters & Publishers Town Hall - a forum to discuss the current issues facing the industry.

Presentations slated are:

•         Making the Most of Publishing Deals Through YouTube

•         How to Grow Revenue with Music in Online Video

•         From the Copyright Act to the Songwriters Equity Act, What’s New?

•         Demonstrations...

o    Songspace: Online Catalog Management

o    Songtrust: Simplifying Music Publishing Administration

o    SynchTank: Automating The Licensing Process
