One-Day Event Brings Together Industry Leaders, Artists and Entrepreneurs to Drive Strategies in Rights Management Forward

Digital Media Wire and Concurrent Media Strategies announce the inaugural RightsTech Summit, a groundbreaking one-day event focused on technology-enabled strategies for the management, authentication, and monetization of creative rights across diverse media industries including art, music, photography, publishing, and video. The RightsTech Summit will bring together startups, tech/media powerhouses, and industry associations to network and explore innovations in rights management. Discussions will examine how emerging technologies and tech content partnerships can help creative industries drive successful monetization strategies. Highlights on the agenda include:

  • A fireside chat with Benji Rogers of PledgeMusic, one of Fast Company’s “Top 10 Most Innovative Companies of 2015 in Music”.
  • A panel on “Restoring Registration to the Copyright Equation” with executives from Ascribe, Verisart, Monegraph, and Orangenius.
  • A panel on defining the RightsTech technology stack, with IBM, Getty Images, Discovery Communications and FilmTrack.
  • A panel on “Smart Contracts: Turning Contracts into Code” with Davis Wright Tremaine.
  • A panel on “Crypto-Currencies, Side-Chains, and Fiat Portals” with executives from 3Pillar Global, Steemit, Lisk, Ethereum, PeerTracks and Transform PR.

Networking discussions over breakfast, coffee, lunch, and an after party.

The RightsTech initiative – blog, newsletter, research, events and cross-media industry board – is a joint venture between Digital Media Wire, Inc. and Concurrent Media Strategies, LLC.
