Open Music Initiative/AIMP

Open Music Initiative was founded by Berklee College of Music and MIT Media Lab in 2016 with the mission of creating a global open standard for identifying music rights holders. It counts over 250 companies as members including the big three labels, publishers like UMPG, BMG, Round Hill, Atlas and others; streaming services including Spotify, YouTube, Soundcloud, Netflix and Alibaba; PROs including SACEM, SESAC and GEMA, as well as companies like Facebook, Viacom, Avid, Sonos IBM, and Intel.

Join Berklee, MIT and IBM at lunch to learn more about Open Music and how it can benefit the MMA; music publishers; and also learn about how technologies like blockchain and machine learning can dramatically improve publisher forecasts, reduce backroom costs and increase revenue collections.

We must limit attendance to 25 members, and only one per company.  You must be a Premier Professional member to participate in this special event .To attend or to upgrade your membership, please email becca@AIMP.org.  You can check your status by logging into the MEMBERS section of the site.

The deadline to sign up is January 14th due to security clearance requirements.  Walk-ups will not be permitted.  You will receive confirmation of valid registration which you should print and bring to expedite building security check.
