NYC3 SHOWCASE SAMPLER SUBMISSION INFO:

We will present THE VERY BEST OF NY, so please submit your top artists who are able to perform at The Cutting Room on Monday June 11th (4pm soundcheck, 9pm showtime). We will be using the venue's in house backline and soundsystem. A drum kit will be set up and available to be used - cymbals can be switched between sets if desired. Artists and/or their representatives will be responsible to cover the cost of any incidentals associated with the performance that exceeds that of the venue's own equipment.  Each artist will perform two original songs. Torae Carr of Sirius XM's Hip Hop Nation will be our MC and will introduce each artist before they perform. Please note that we are limiting the number of performers to 5-6 this year. We want the stage to represent not only the best of NY music, but to also reflect the rich multicultural diversity of our city - Hip Hop, Urban and Latin all need to be represented within this showcase. Every year we have a full room of industry professionals who come in from all around the world to celebrate Songwriters Week. This is our opportunity to put NYC's most exciting emerging artists on the radar of publishers, A&R, managers, attorneys, music supervisors, etc. They don't need to be published or signed, they just need to be great! If you work with an artist, or know of an artist from the NY or surrounding area, that we should consider to perform please submit them using the following:

Step ONE: ADD WRITER TO NYC3 WRITER DATABASE

To be considered, all writers must first appear in the NYC3 Writer Database. This is a working database used by publishers, writers and A&R’s as a resource for setting up co-writes and collaborations. Please add your writer/artists so we can all work together better as a creative community. It’s simple, just click and complete! Feel free to use this as a tool for your business.

Step TWO:  E-MAIL SUBMISSION

Send e-mail, with SHOWCASE in the Subject line, to: newyorkcitycreativecommunity@gmail.com

Within the e-mail include ARTIST name, along with the TWO songs they would wish to perform at the showcase as LINKS only (no attachments), short BIOGRAPHY, live footage (if available) and contact info. All submissions MUST be received by Monday April 29th to be considered.

Step THREE: SELECTION PROCESS

During the week of April 29th and May 6th a small team of creatives from within NYC3 will choose the artists to perform.

If you're interested in helping us by volunteering to help at the event, please let us know!
