AIMP PANELS

July 18, 2019

Time: 11:30 - 1:45 p.m.

BEHIND THE WRITER: The Evolving Role of A&R in Publishing

Please note that this panel has been re-scheduled to July, due to scheduling conficts, and apologize for any inconvience

Behind the song, there is a songwriter. And behind the songwriter, there is A&R. Join top A&R and management executives as we discuss their evolving role in music publishing. We’ll explore how they now identify talent, develop and grow careers, and how managers compliment the role for many hit songwriters. We will look at the close, and sometimes personal, relationship with their writers, how the A&R role and skill set has changed, and we’ll seek their perspective and insight on what truly distinguishes the successful songwriters of today.

Stay tuned for panelists to be announced!
