AIMP Summer School Part 2 – Creative Songwriter Deals

Songwriter Deals in the Changing Landscape of the Music Business

Please join us for Part 2 of AIMP’s "summer school" series focusing on creative songwriter deals.

In this session, we will examine creative ways to customize music publishing agreements tailored to a songwriter's specific needs based on the changing landscape of the music business.  Due in part to the growing number of publishing partners available for songwriters to consider partnering with now, there is greater competition, and the publishers who are open to unique deals are winning out.  We will discuss key variations in rights and obligations in the different types of music publishing contracts, including real world examples of how they are being put into play.  Further, the panelists will highlight which elements songwriters should take into consideration when choosing a music publisher.

The doors will open at 5:30 and the discussion will begin promptly at 6PM.

Please bring an ID for check in at Security.
