Prior to ICE Mick worked for over five years at PRS on several key industry projects, notably the implementation of the first pan-European online licensing service, CELAS. Corey Roberts is the Vice President of A&R Research at Downtown Music Publishing, where he utilizes a data-driven approach to identify, sign and develop songwriters and producers. Since joining Downtown in 2018, Roberts has signed some of this generation’s most exciting hip-hop producers including Chris Barnett — who has worked with culturally defining artists like Kanye West, Chance the Rapper, Lil Pump, Juice WRLD, Desiigner, Wiz Khalifa, and Chief Keef, among others — as well as Midas 800, the producer behind NLE Choppa’s infectious 2019 hit, “Shotta Flow.” At Downtown, Roberts also signed soulful R&B duo The War and Treaty and folk trio CAAMP. Prior, he spent over a decade in the Universal Music Group system, working in A&R Research with Avery and Monte Lipman at Universal Records and Sylvia Rhone at Motown Records. He later worked under L.A. Reid at Epic Records, followed by a five-year stint at SONGS Music Publishing — where he identified and helped bring in a-list talent including Lorde and Desiigner. Anna Bond is the Senior Director of Global Business Development for Songtrust, the world’s largest global royalty collection service and publishing administrator. Bond works with record labels, music publishers, and music technology companies to register tastemaking talent with Songtrust, enabling songwriters and music rights holders to collect the global publishing royalties they’re owed. Bond has been in the music industry for more than 15 years, and prior to Songtrust, she was US label head for storied indie powerhouse Rough Trade Records. She has also spent time at independent distributor Secretly Distribution, digital music service eMusic, and in label management for Brighton, UK based rock/experimental label FatCat. |
