Creative Coordinator Position

The Bicycle Music Company is one of the largest independent music publishers and home to a wide range of evergreen and contemporary songs, with an iconic songwriter roster and a catalog of more than 150,000 copyrights worldwide. 

Seeking to hire a Creative Coordinator for Beverly Hills, CA office.


Job Description and General Duties:  

  • Primary focus on assisting the Creative Department, reporting to: department SVP - Creative, A&R, Synchronization
  • Maintain and manage Bicycle digital-audio library (recordings/compositions) of our songwriters/artists. Including researching and adding or adapting metadata as directed. 
  • Assist in preparing physical and digital mailings of our clients’ new releases, samplers etc.
  • Maintain and assist in developing internal music systems and databases
  • Assist in drafting internal and external digital newsletters. 
  • Manage e-mail invitations of our clients’ live performances to music supervisors and staff as directed.  Keep track of guest lists.
  • From time to time as directed will liaise with Bicycle Music clients and/or their managers, to find out information regarding recent activity (co-writing sessions, writer/publishing splits on songs submissions, album/single releases, touring & marketing plans, etc.), and to help secure assets (WAV files, instrumental versions, lyrics, etc.) from same.
  • Manage news, new release and bio updates to Bicycle Music website. 
  • Research all manner of client copyright, release and licensing information as needed.

Required Competencies/Skills:

  • At least 1- 2 years of experience in the field of creative music licensing at a music publisher, record company or music supervision company.
  • MS Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, iTunes, BOX, Hightail etc.
  • Knowledge and understanding of synchronization process 
  • Must be organized, reliable and a people person 
  • The ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast paced environment
  • Passion and fair to deep knowledge of music and the history of, across all genres and eras.
  • Eager to learn and highly motivated to work at a quick pace as part of a like-minded team.

Education requirements:

   College grad


Salary Range: TBD
