Head of Music Publishing (LA or NY)

Lead the publishing business at Secretly including creative, staff management, business and admin.  Report to the COO of Secretly Group, lead the sync and admin teams at the Publishing business, and partner with A&R, legal and other teams in the Group.


  • Attract and develop world-class songwriters
  • Provide a platform that supports the creative activities of signed writers
  • Ensure sync and licensing opportunities for catalog across TV, Film, Advertising, Trailers and Games.
  • Manage effecient admin and reporting function for writers and other partners
  • Work closely with COO and others to grow the publishing business.



  • 5+ years experience in sync licensing, publishing and/or management 
  • Depth of understanding of music publishing and sync licensing
  • Strong pre-existing relationships within the music supervision community
  • Knowledge of competitive deal structures and ability to negotiate in a way that optimizes value for the company and fosters long term trust and relationships in the industry
  • Passion for Secretly Group's diverse roster and the capability to have a high level of knowledge of the company's creative assets
  • Prior management experience and ability to develop strong relationships internally
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a fast paced, team oriented environment
  • Experience with DISCO and FileMaker is a plus
  • Multicultural market knowledge is a plus


Role can be based in Los Angeles CA, Brooklyn NY or Bloomington IN.
