Royalties Coordinator (Position Music) (LA)

Royalties Coordinator position available at Position Music, Burbank, CA

Position Music is an independent music publisher/label in Burbank, CA that was founded in 1999. Our current staff of twenty-three is extremely passionate about music and supporting our artists. We offer employee benefits along with a friendly, casual work environment in a modern office with lots of reclaimed wood, a recording studio and the biggest drum you’ve ever seen hanging from the ceiling.

The Royalties Coordinator’s responsibilities will include:

  • Processing various forms of income for the Royalty Department
  • Sourcing income statements from a variety of clients and partners such as record labels, subpublishers, HFA, ASCAP, BMI, etc.
  • Income matching
  • Cue Sheet data entry
  • Assist the Director of Royalties
  • Assist in music catalog and copyright data management
  • Other administrative duties as assigned

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have experience in data management and various administrative tasks
  • Have strict attention to detail
  • Have an aptitude for consistency
  • Be extremely organized and perform tasks efficiently?
  • Be computer savvy (MAC)
  • Love geeking out over Excel
  • Be a team-player, friendly, communicative and eager to help
  • Be trustworthy, loyal, respectful and discreet with regards to knowing confidential information about the company?
  • Be excited to work at a super cool and growing indie music company?
