Coordinator, Sync & Licensing - Los Angeles

We are seeking a knowledgeable, passionate & hard-working licensing professional to fill this exciting and unique assignment in our rapidly growing company.

The Organization

offices in Toronto, Nashville, New York, Los Angeles and London, ole boasts a team of over 50 experienced industry professionals focused on acquisitions, creative development and worldwide copyright administration.

Position Scope
Reporting to the Senior Director, Sync & Licensing in Los Angeles, this position supports
both the creative and licensing departments in their day-to-day practice of creative
placement, negotiating and licensing songs and masters for the television and motion
picture communities.

• Procure, distribute and maintain cue sheets from relevant TV and film productions
• Assist creative sync team in curating themed playlists
• Attend in-office meetings with the team, including departmental listening sessions and selective external opportunities
• Curate video footage for locked and licensed syncs
• Assist with sourcing business development list for sales calls
• Research and catalog current and future studio projects for business development
• Other duties on occasion as required by needs of the business

Qualifications, Experience and Skills
• Minimum 2 years of Sync licensing and reproduction licensing studies or experience
• Excellent working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, etc.) and a
 strong understanding of Maestro, Disco, and Counterpoint is an asset
• Strong knowledge of key networks, studios and media trends in the industry
• Knowledge and experience in the interpretation of publishing, artist, management
 and TV production contracts
• Keen desire to learn everyday
• Demonstrated a passion for music
• Skilled at performing multiple tasks simultaneously and carrying out duties in a timely,
 efficient and accurate manner
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and perform under pressure while adapting to
 changing business needs
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Able to work eectively in a team environment
• College or University education in field an asset
• Superior communication skills (written and verbal)

This role offers a competitive salary and bonus compensation plan.
