  • Assisting the SVP of Artist Partner/GM of Publishing in all respects and assisting the Sr. Director of Legal and Business Development with the following: scheduling, meeting coordination, expense reports, and phone monitoring.
  • Coordinate department-related events, such as A&R meetings, showcases, etc.
  • Facilitate communication on behalf of direct supervisors.
  • Analyze charts as directed and assemble reports for distribution.
  • Send revised drafts and proposals on a semi-regular basis.
  • On an ad hoc basis, summarize documents/agreements, and redline agreements.
  • Return fully executed agreements to outside parties and author cover letters.
  • Manage Legal files including creation, logging, and storing files on a regular basis.
  • Serve as the editor for various deal memos & various artist-related documents.
  • Coordinating multiple songwriter calendars for writing session booking.

Important skills and experience

  • 1-2 years of experience supporting business affairs or attorneys
  • Knowledge of label/publishing in the music industry
  • Interest in growing with business affairs-related support functions which may include partnering with Finance and HR
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to keep sensitive information confidential
  • College degree preferred
