Executive Assistant - Lady Luck Songs (NA)

Reporting directly to the Head Creator and Founder, the Executive Assistant provides executive support in a one-on-one working relationship. The Executive Assistant serves as the primary point of contact both internal and external on all matters pertaining to the Head Creator. The Executive Assistant also organizes and coordinates executive communication and outreach; and oversees special projects. The Executive Assistant must be creative and enjoy working within an entrepreneurial environment that is mission-driven, results-driven and community oriented. The ideal individual will have great computer skills, the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage booking (Google) calendar at RCA of at least Lady Luck writers
  • Catalogue songs for Lady Luck writers and register with PROs
  • Schedule writes from ‘wish list’ and existing writers for all Lady Luck writers
  • Pitching and plugging – take meetings, develop relationships with other publishing companies (with the goal of working with their writers)
  • Industry networking
  • Minimal invoicing
  • Prepare comps for labels, or for other publishing companies
  • Schedule writing camps at the Oklahoma Ranch
  • Book at least one Lady Luck writer at local gigs (Bluebird, Whiskey Jam, Tin Pan, etc)
  • Follow ups, and reports
  • Complete a broad variety of administrative tasks for the Head Creator including managing calendar of appointments; arranging detailed business & personal travel plans, itineraries, and agendas; compiling documents for travel-related and local meetings; and scanning, filing, dispersing important documents
  • Successfully completes critical aspects of deliverables with a hands-on approach, including drafting emails, personal correspondence, sitting in for meetings on behalf of or accompanying Head Creator, and other tasks that facilitate the Head Creator’s ability to effectively lead the company
  • Prioritizes conflicting needs; handles matters expeditiously, proactively, and follows-through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures
  • Provides detailed notes and summaries for all meetings and events

 Skills Required

  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to pick up and learn tasks independently
  • Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail
  • High level of written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated proactive approaches to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability
  • Emotional maturity
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve high performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Strong work tenure: 1 to 2 years of experience in an administrative role
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point), Adobe Acrobat, Dropbox, GSuite, and Social Media web platforms
  • Please note this is a part-time position and approximately 20-25 hours/week will be required. The times worked will vary week to week and interested candidates must have the ability to work nights and weekends. Your work location could vary between an office, at an offsite location, driving, or working remotely. Candidate must provide their own transportation.

$1000-$1500 monthly
