Communications and Events Intern Positions

The Washington, DC-based Copyright Alliance is the unified voice of the copyright community, representing the interests of thousands of individuals and organizations across the spectrum of copyright disciplines. The Copyright Alliance represents the interests of authors, photographers, performers, artists, software developers, musicians, journalists, directors, songwriters, game designers and many other individual creators. The Copyright Alliance also represents the interests of book publishers, motion picture studios, software companies, music publishers, sound recording companies, sports leagues, broadcasters, guilds, unions, newspaper and magazine publishers, and many more organizations.

The Alliance is dedicated to advocating policies that promote and preserve the value of copyright, and to protecting the rights of creators and innovators.

We are searching for 1-3 undergraduate students based in the U.S. to work remotely as Communications and Events interns for the 2020 summer (and possibly, fall) months. The position is unpaid. However, it offers a great deal of experience, as well as university credits (if possible/appropriate) in a professional environment with a savvy team. It’s also a position that does not require you to work in our DC office due to current Coronavirus considerations. So those selected for the position can work remotely from their own locations and will need to provide their own computer.

  • Assisting with membership marketing calendars, strategies, templates, and helping to analyze the results;
  • Searching for and compiling monthly media coverage into a report format; • Assisting with the scheduling of social media messaging;
