Music Coordinator for Glow Music Group / PEN Music Group

Overview: Full Time – 20 hours/week for Glow, 20 hours/week for PEN

Position available immediately

Our Companies: 

Glow Music Group is an independent boutique music licensing company founded by Singer, Songwriter, Producer Kari Kimmel. Upon achieving such success licensing her own music in over 1000 Films, TV shows, Trailers, Promos, Video Games and Commercials, Kari began representing other artists for sync opportunities. What started with only a few artists has now grown to over 400 bands and artists of all genres and time periods. 

PEN Music Group, Inc. is an independent music publishing company in existence since 1994. PEN handles all administrative aspects of maintaining one’s catalogue of work from song registration worldwide, to issuance of all sorts of licenses and collecting royalties earned worldwide. PEN also equally focuses on pitching and licensing its clients’ music to worldwide synch opportunities in films, TV projects, commercials/promos/trailers and videogames.

Qualifications: 

-       Must be organized and detail oriented

-       Must be self-motivated and have a strong work ethic

-       Ability to work independently

-       Must be creative and innovative – have an ear and a passion for great music that works well for film and television

-       General knowledge of Mailchimp, Wix, Disco, Dropbox (not mandatory, but a big plus)

-       LA Based preferred 

Responsibilities:

-       Catalog organization and asset management for both PEN and Glow

-       Customizing playlists that target specific briefs and pitches – for Glow only

-       Coordinating newsletters for both PEN and Glow

-       Corresponding with bands and artists on a daily basis – answering questions and acquiring and organizing necessary assets – for Glow only

-       Tagging songs with descriptive words that will aid in pitches for both PEN and Glow

-       Researching upcoming projects within all media for both PEN and Glow

-       Becoming familiar with roster of bands and songs – for Glow only

-       Manage and maintain social media accounts – for Glow only
