![]() View All Jobs ![]() Creative - Lady Luck Publishing - Nashville, TNPosted: Jun 29, 2021 Overview Reporting directly to the Founder, the Creative provides executive support in a one-on-one working relationship. The creative serves as the primary point of contact both internally and externally on all matters pertaining to Lady Luck. The Creative organizes and coordinates executive communication and outreach and oversees special projects. The ideal candidate for this role must be creative and enjoy working within an entrepreneurial environment that is mission-driven, results-driven and community oriented. The ideal candidate will have great computer skills, the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities.
Roles and Responsibilities · Work alongside and coordinate with the Booking Coordinator who manages the Lady Luck Calendar. Assist in scheduling artists and published writers · Manage the Admin + Pitcher/Plugger · Schedule writes from ‘wish list’ · Book Artist Writes · Pitching and plugging – take meetings with labels and management · Get cuts and songs placed · Industry networking – Attend Rounds and Industry Events · Minimal invoicing · Book artists and schedule all writing retreats · Book 2 Lady Luck writers at local gigs (Bluebird, Whiskey Jam, Tin Pan, etc.) · Follow ups and reports · Prioritize conflicting needs; handle matters expeditiously, proactively, and follows-through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures · Provide detailed notes and summaries for all meetings and events · Manage Lady Luck’s social media pages
Skills Required · Strong organizational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail · High level of written and verbal communication skills · Demonstrated proactive approaches to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability · Existing relationships with management, publishing, and labels · Demonstrated ability to achieve high performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment · Self-motivated
Education and Experience Requirements · Strong work tenure: at least 2 years of experience in a creative role · Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point), Adobe Acrobat, Dropbox, GSuite, and Social Media web platforms · Experience with social media content creation · The times worked will vary week to week and interested candidates must have the ability to work nights and weekends. Your work location could vary between an office, at an offsite location, driving, or working remotely. Candidate must provide their own transportation
Status & Compensation Part-time / Remote Salary + Bonus per song placement (~$30,000 / year)
