Director of Royalties & Licensing The Director of Special Projects is a full-time position and focuses with BSG partners on special projects relating to income tracking and auditing, valuations of copyrights, copyright administration, and other various tasks. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: · Working with Partners on various catalog valuation, auditing, budgeting, and income forecasting projects. · Working with bookkeeping staff in regularly updating royalty tracking reports and confirming expected royalty income arrives on schedule for all BSG clients. · Summarizing new agreements for all BSG clients as they are received. These may include songwriter, artist, producer, distribution, merchandising, and various other types of agreements. · Royalty processing and statement generation for publisher and record label clients. · Mechanical licensing and synch licensing/clearance projects. Qualified candidates will have/be: · 2-3 Years of copyright royalty administration experience (preferred). · Experience with Music Maestro, Record Maestro, and Royalty Share software (preferred). · Knowledge of copyright law and licensing. · Fluent in Microsoft Excel and Word. · Great communication and organizational skills, and the desire to ask questions. · Very strong attention to detail.
