Client Services Manager, PML (NA/NY/Toronto)

About the Role:

Anthem Entertainment is looking for its new Client Services Manager, PML. This role will report to the Manager, Client Services and will be responsible for maintaining an evolving portfolio of Production Music Libraries (PML) client relationships by delivering the highest level of service to Anthem PML clients and contributing to the building of the Anthem and PML brands. This includes, but is not limited to, managing the administration of a clients’ music publishing rights to ensure full registrations across global rights organizations, monitoring and maximizing global royalty collections, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as client’s day-to-day contact at Anthem to provide best-in-class service regarding client rights, royalties, and distribution of statement reporting

• Be an expert on your portfolio of clients, including understanding the agreement, actively monitor client activity to understand new and ongoing developments, whether directly with client or through external research

• Understand all of Anthem’s business platforms and service offerings to communicate to clients effectively

• Ensure registration completeness of all client’s IP-rights, including obtaining any and all new delivery of IP/related documents

• Regular review of client royalties to ensure revenue completeness, including monitoring IP-usage, conducting monthly income variance analysis

• Liaise with internal departments to inform of new client developments, including for business development, financial forecasting, etc.

• Liaise with external stakeholders such as global rights collectives, to maximize royalties and service clients as required

• Track all material client or other external communications in Salesforce

• Contribute to the identification and implementation of business process improvements and automation initiatives, as required

• Ad-hoc projects and tasks as required

Qualifications, Experience and Skills:

• University Degree, College Diploma, or relevant related experience

• 1-3 years in a client services role

• Experience working within, or a comprehensive understanding of, rights management, particularly the administrative aspects of music publishing, recorded music, and related rights

• Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional client service and relationship building

• Effective verbal/written communication skills

• Skilled at performing multiple tasks simultaneously and carrying out duties in a timely, efficient and accurate manner, including ability to prioritize effectively

• Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)

• Knowledge of SharePoint and Salesforce, an asset

• Maintains effective relationships with key contacts in the industry

• Demonstrated experience with reviewing legal agreements for key terms, etc., an asset
