BMI is very proud of its many Latin affiliates who received nominations for this year’s Latin American Music Awards. Several BMI songwriters were cited for recognition with multiple nods, including J Balvin (7 nominations), Karol G (7 nominations), Rauw Alejandro (7 nominations), Grupo Firme (6 nominations), Eslabon Armado (5 nominations), Oswaldo “Walo” Silvas of Banda MS de Sergio Lizárraga (4 nominations) Ozuna (3 nominations), Ricky Martin (2 nominations), Los Dos Carnales (3 nominations) and Anitta (2 nominations). The seventh annual award ceremony for the Latin AMAs will take place live from the Michelob ULTRA Arena at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas on Thursday, April 21, and will be broadcast live on Telemundo at 7:00 pm ET.
