Universal Music Publishing and Roc Nation Latin partner for the Latin Market

December 6, 2016

Universal Music Publishing Group (UMPG) will administer the publishing catalog of the newly created Roc Nation Latin, Billboard has learned.

The deal, expected to be announced shortly, gives a new dimension to Roc Nation Latin’s 360 artist deals.

The Latin division of Roc Nation, helmed by Romeo Santos and his manager Johnny Marines, recently signed a handful of active up-and-coming acts. They include Dominican Mozart La Para, banda singer Victoria “La Mala,” Jayro Rosado, rapper Angel Pérez (Mr. Paradise) and pop singer Karen Rodriguez, a songwriter who is also known for her bilingual Youtube cover versions of mainstream hits.  You can read the rest of the Billboard article here.
