  • Heartfelt congratulations go out to our independent friends and colleagues who made Billboard's 2022 Power List!
  • ASCAP Experience - ASCAP’s signature event created to inspire, educate and connect aspiring songwriters and composers everywhere, returns virtually this March after a massively successful year of virtual events in 2021. ASCAP kicks off its star-studded monthly sessions with a March 8 International Women’s Day panel featuring three of the industry’s leading composers and songwriters. The conversation is also part of “Women Create Music,” ASCAP’s celebration of Women’s History Month.  Read more here
  • BMI songwriters were front and center as CRS returned to Nashville with hundreds of country radio and music industry executives in attendance for the first in-person conference in two years. BMI hosted its annual CRS Songwriters Dinner for the radio execs who were in town that featured performances by seven up-and-coming BMI writers along with a closing set from Warner Brothers recording artist Charlie Worsham. In addition, BMI helped wrap up the week by sponsoring the CRS Artist Spotlight Interview with BMI songwriter Blake Shelton, conducted by Country Countdown USA host and Country Aircheck publisher Lon Helton.  View the slideshow here.
  • Congratulations to our LA Chapter's friend and colleague Erin Collins/SESAC for being included in Billboard’s '2022 Women In Music Top Executives' list.  View the full list here
  • Congratulations also to former LA Chapter President and longtime friend, colleague and supporter of our organization, Kathy Spanberger, President/COO, Anglo American region, peermusic, for also being included on this list of esteemed women executives.
