We have suspended AIMP’s March in-person events, but will have a free March 24 webinar open to all members: “What Is Password Sharing Costing Streaming & the Music Business at Large?,” presented by Glenn Peoples of Billboard. We are considering additional webinar member events through April.
  • View Webcasts of Panels – One of the many benefits of membership is our archive of past panels. If you missed the LA February Ladies Of Latin panel, Members can view the video, as well as all archives, here. All are welcome to view a sampling of video clips here.
  • The AIMP Global Music Publishing Summit will take place over three days - June 8-10 - at the 3 West Club in New York City. • AIMP Association Chair and Los Angeles Chapter President Teri Nelson-Carpenter issued the below statement on the NMPA's recent settlement with Peloton.

"The AIMP applauds the settlement between the NMPA and Peloton, and looks forward to seeing the results of their joint collaboration agreement.  Going forward, it is imperative that all publishers and songwriters be compensated for the use of their works, and we will be monitoring the situation closely to ensure that independents are treated fairly and equitably."
